The idea for Groovin The Moo sparked in 2003. “Surely there are enough festival-heads outside the major capitals to support a decent festival”. Rod and Steve were so caught up in their joint fantasy of a regional roving music tour at a party in Newcastle in 2003 they failed to notice those sneaky #@&^ steal their last beers.

2011 and the Groovin The Moo theme is consolidation. No new venues this year but plenty of work to ensure all shows are awesome.
